A Bungalow & Hideaway on the Bluff is owned and operated by Carol McGough. Carol previously owned The James House, Port Townsend’s premiere bed and breakfast for 20 years. It was sold as a private residence in November 2009, retaining A Bungalow & Hideaway on the Bluff as private getaways. You may see Carol, Marilyn, Marilou and Caitlin working around the property. We work hard to make your stay a memorable one and welcome your comments and suggestions.

Carol believes that a successful business is only as good as it’s community. She supports nonprofit organizations in the community, having served on several boards. She was President of Port Townsend Main Street Program, and is currently a founding board member of Jefferson County Community Foundation, and a member of Women Who Care Giving Circle. 15% of net revenue from her business goes to support community nonprofit programs.
