Birdwatching on the Olympic Peninsula

Winter offers some of nature’s best surprises, whether it is seeing the sun rise over the Cascade mountains to the east, the glorious sunsets to the west, or the opportunity to see the birds of the pacific northwest in their natural playground.

The Washington state Audubon Society offers a viewable online map of birdwatching on the Olympic Peninsula. We also have a local Port Townsend chapter that offers terrific trip opportunities to see local bird habitats with local experts. The best part….they are absolutely free!
