•Every Saturday all summer: Port Townsend Farmer’s Market is a real community event and a fun way to spend a morning! The best part: it is only two blocks from A Bungalow & Hideaway on the Bluff! Corner of Lawrence & Tyler!
• Wooden Boat Festival September 10 – 12 Celebrating 35 years, this year’s festival promises to be a great one, with the Northwest Maritime Center being the centerpiece. It is a fun weekend to be in Port Townsend, whether you are a sailor or not!
• Historic Homes Tour September 18-19. A terrific opportunity to tour some of Port Townsend’s finest historic homes and buildings. Always popular, this year will be no exception!
• Farm Tour Eighteen farms will be open to the public for exploring the farms, fields and orchards. There will be food, music, and activities for all ages, including pony rides at Serendipity Farm, cider tasting at Wildfire Cider. Hug a sheep! Make friends with a chicken. Seriously, this is a really fun event. There’s no end to the fun to be had!
• Port Townsend Film Festival This is one of our favorite events in Port Townsend! It is truly like a giant block party with great energy! In five venues around Port Townsend, movies are screened all day for three days. Dyan Cannon was announced as the 2010 Special Guest of the Film Festival. Ms. Cannon received Best-Supporting Actress nominations for both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards for her role in Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice.
